General
All prices and rates assume pick up and drop off within the Perth metropolitan area.
Price applies from pick up to drop off, although additional cost may be necessary for lengthy one-way arrangements. Out of metro area kilometre charges will apply for all country locations.
The Kombi/s are hired for a minimum of 3 hour which commences when the Kombi/s arrives at the designated pick-up location
Journeys exceeding the booked time, incur overtime charges @ $55.00 per 15 minute intervals or part thereof.
By making a booking the hirer/s unconditionally accepts all of these terms and conditions and requirements and limitations found listed in these terms and conditions and on the Great Kombis web site.
The hirer/s are responsible for ensuring that all passengers are aware of these terms and conditions.
Yearly hourly hire rate increases can and will rise without notification.
Bookings, Payments and Cancellations
Tentative bookings may be made by phone or email. Bookings become confirmed when a deposit of 50% of the booking is made. 4 week cancellation is allowed and 50% of the deposit will be returned.
Full payment must be received four weeks prior to hire date. The hirer/s may cancel up to four weeks prior to the booking and receive a refund less non-refundable deposit. However, in the case of weddings and public special events the period during which the hirer/s can cancel and receive a refund is eight weeks, less the non-refundable deposit.
When bookings are made less than six weeks from the booking full payments is required when booked and the hirer/s accepts the responsibility of the “No Cancellation Policy” and full charges will apply.
Any additions to the time table must be paid to the driver before departure from the first pickup point, any overtime charges must be paid in full to the lead driver on conclusion of the hire.
Limitations of Use
The Kombi/s will not travel on unsealed roads. Driveways or very small stretches will be considered, but we cannot take these cars on unsealed roads, due to the damage that can occur very special cases, it can be negotiated, but not preferable.
Any intoxicated person that is deemed to be unable to travel safely by the driver will not be permitted to ride.
Just like any vehicle there is always a very slight possibility of mechanical breakdown. If such a situation occurs and another Kombi/s is not available Great Kombi service reserves the right to replace any vehicle with a substitute (including a Taxi) in case of a breakdown or other emergency. In this event travel restraints may apply.
Passenger Behaviour
No alcohol, smoking or eating permitted in Kombi/s.
No objects or parts of a body are to be placed outside the Kombi/s whilst in motion.
Drivers may end the journey at any point without refund if passenger behaviour is deemed to be illegal, inappropriate or offensive.
Limitation of Liability exonerated
While due care is taken, no responsibility can be accepted for items left in the vehicles.
The hirer/s shall be fully responsible and liable for any damage caused to the vehicle by the hirer/s or passenger/s. This includes incitement or behaviour resulting in damage to the vehicle or its contents by a third party.
The hirer/s exonerates Great Kombi service of any liability for any personal or material damages arising from the conduct of his or her party.
The hirer/s accepts and indemnifies Great Kombis and its employees against any loss, consequential or otherwise as a result, direct or otherwise of a failure to meet time deadlines. It is the responsibility of the hirer/s to ensure that there is adequate time to travel to and from destinations. Furthermore, the hirer/s indemnifies Great Kombis against any and all claims as a result, direct or otherwise, consequential or otherwise, of a failure to arrive at the destination at the appropriate time or at all.
